Summer Goalkeeper Academy
One of our most popular winter programs moves outdoors for the summer. The goalkeeper is a special player who requires specific individualized training, yet s/he rarely receives customized instruction. The Capital Soccer Goalkeeping School teaches players the fundamental techniques and tactics for this unique position, as well as physical fitness and psychological preparation.
Technical topics will include footwork, diving, collection, and distribution. Tactically, emphasis will be placed on angles, organizing defenders, and setting up for restarts. The Goalkeeping School is for boys and girls ages 11-18.
